Paraguay | Wood Expo 2025 opens its doors with the focus on sustainability and potential of the forestry sector

From September 12 to 14, the 2025 wooden Expo will be held with more than 40 stands that will exhibit the diversity of forest and timber production in the country: seedlings, machinery, supplies, services, crafts and much more

The official opening ceremony, scheduled for 18:00, will be attended by national authorities, union referents, international delegations and special guests, who support the vision of consolidating the Paraguayan forestry sector as one of the strategic pillars of the economy for the next decade. Companies and representatives of Chile, Argentina and Brazil will actively participate in seminars, technical talks and business wheels, promoting regional integration and new opportunities of International Trade. The Expo, which is carried out in alliance with Balcony Eventos, has the support of key institutions such as the National Secretariat of Culture (SNC), the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC), the National Navigation and Ports Administration (ANNP), the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development (MADES), the National Forest Institute (Infona) and the National Secretariat of Tourism (Senatur). of tourist interest in Senatur, of environmental relevance by MATS and of institutional interest in infona, recognizing its economic, social and environmental impact.
