Más fácilmente reemplazable (en bosques reforestados con tala controlada) y más ligera que los costosos y pesados acero y hormigón armado, la madera laminada cruzada CLT (Cross Laminated Timber) pegada a 90 grados es, además, más resistente al fuego y más fácil de manipular.
