Workshop ExpoMadera Entre Ríos opens a space in Buenos Aires to project construction with wood, industrialized housing and modern architecture

On October 22 and 23, 2026, companies, architectural professionals and industrialized construction leaders will meet at the Casa de Entre Ríos, in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, to train, exchange experiences and explore construction solutions that integrate wood, technology and design. The meeting seeks to bring together standardized systems and generate networking opportunities between the different actors in the construction chain. This activity is part of the Month of Design and Architecture, organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of the City of Buenos Aires," the organization reported.

The third edition of the ExpoMadera Entre Ríos Workshop will arrive for the first time in the City of Buenos Aires with a proposal that connects the wood industry with architecture and industrialized construction. Driven by the Arquitectos Bahr and Medina Navarro studio, for two days, companies and professionals will be able to learn about systems, materials and technologies to design homes with wood and explore new development opportunities in a market that demands integrated construction solutions. The meeting will take place at the Casa de Entre Ríos, located in Suipacha 844, with training activities, professional updating, workshops and work tables. The initiative aims to generate an area of exchange between companies, architects and other references linked to construction, bringing together knowledge and experiences on standardized and industrialized construction systems. The 3rd ExpoMadera Entre Ríos Workshop is organized by the Representation of the Government of Entre Ríos in the City of Buenos Aires, the Argentine Federation of the Wood and Related Industries (FAIMA), the Institute of Wood and Furniture of Entre Ríos (IMFER) and Arquitectura.News.De la Madera as a material for solutions to build homes One of the axes of the Workshop will be the presentation of alternatives such as the wood frame or light framework, SIP panels and other industrialized systems that allow wood to be incorporated into housing and architecture projects. The proposal seeks to broaden the view on construction with wood: not only as a choice of material, but as part of solutions that integrate design, technology, process efficiency and different materials. The possibility of combining systems and products opens a space for companies and professionals to learn about construction alternatives and analyze how to incorporate them into their projects. Along this path, the experience of living also occupies a central place. Light, textures, temperature, acoustics and the relationship of materials with the environment are part of a conception of housing that links architectural decisions with comfort, well-being and quality of life. A meeting space between industry, architecture and construction For the forest-industrial chain, the Workshop represents an opportunity to get closer to professionals and companies that participate in the design and execution of homes. Training and exchange allow the supply of wood products to be brought into dialogue with the needs of those who design, specify and build, in addition to learning about systems and technologies that expand the possibilities of applying wood. The activity is part of the agenda of the Month of Design and Architecture of Buenos Aires, promoted by the City Government.
